Palestinian women tells Mehr News about imprisonment in Israel
TEHRAN– A Palestinian woman who was imprisoned by the Zionist Israeli regime said Palestinian female inmates hope to be freed by the Resistance group fighters soon.
Hobba Al-Labdi is a young Palestinian girl who was arrested by the Zionist Israeli regime security forces on July 20, 2019 and was released three months later on November 6. She said that during the 43 days of her imprisonment, she went on a hunger strike, which eventually led to her freedom. She is currently studying in Lebanon and is 36 years old. She was 32 years old when she was put behind bars by the Zionist regime.
Al-Labdi visited Iran's stand at the Eighth Edition of Lebanon International Book Fair in Beirut where she sat down for an interview with Mehr correspondent.
She told Mehr that the Zionist regime would kill all the 11 million Palestinians if they could but they cannot.
"There is an important point. Israel cannot kill all of us. But it seeks to dominate us and make us its slaves," she noted.
She said she did not wear headscarves before her imprisonment and that made the Israelis happy.
The Palestinian woman went on to say that she wore an Islamic hijab after the prison term and picked Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) as her role model in life, while admitting that she was not taught about Islam and Islamic values when she grew up in Jordan.
"The most important issue that I think about these days and has the greatest impact on my soul and spirit is the situation of the imprisoned women and the friends that I have left behind in Israeli prisons.
They said that they hope that the Mujahideen from Ezzeddin Qassam's Brigades or other resistance groups will free them," she said elsewhere in the interview.
The former Palestinian prisoner continued to hail the Resistance leaders such as the founder of the Islamic Revolution Late Imam Khomeini, the current Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the leader of Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
She further hailed the role that former Iranian IRGC Quds Force commander Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani played in advancing the Palestinian Resistance.
