E-commerce transactions rise 75% in H1

TEHRAN – The head of Iran Center for e-Commerce Development has said the volume of e-commerce transactions in the country has increased by 75 percent in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22) as compared to the previous year’s same period.

Speaking at a ceremony held on the occasion of National E-commerce Day in Tehran on Monday, Amin Kolahdouzan said: “In the first six months of this year, we had a very significant growth in the field of e-commerce compared to the same period last year.”
