TEHRAN PAPERS:

Psychological operation of the usurper regime

October 16, 2023 - 10:42

In an analysis, Vatan-e-Emrooz discussed the Zionist regime's axial role in creating riots, chaos, and insecurity in Iran. It wrote: During the unrest in the fall of 1401 (2022), the intelligence system of the Zionist regime and the Mossad played a special role.

This central role started a few months after the street riots subsided and on the eve of the new year, more public riots began. Along with Israel, the media run by the enemy, which was responsible for spreading lies and psychological operations against the Iranians, this time engaged in purifying the Zionist regime through lies. The beheading of settler children was the biggest and main lie made by these English-language media and later republished by foreign Persian-language media. These media outlets, which initially tried to introduce the Palestinian people as terrorists, at the same time as the start of the Zionist regime's “war crimes” in Gaza, supported Israel completely and even demanded a direct attack on Iran by the occupation regime of Israel. And with this support, it was clearly proven that these media outlets are serving as mercenaries for the Zionist regime.

Shargh: Palestinian issues and Tehran-Washington talks not related

In a note, Shargh addressed the Western media's claims that Iran's money was blocked in the Qatar Central Bank and said: After the Washington Post, it was the turn of the New York Times to make a similar claim with the title "America and Qatar blocked Iran's six billion dollars again". This American newspaper claimed that with the Washington-Doha agreement, Iran's specific demand to use its six billion dollars will be rejected until further notice! According to Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the senators and the U.S. government are all fully aware that they cannot withdraw from the agreement. This money belongs to the people of Iran, which the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran will use to facilitate all the essential and non-sanctioned needs of Iranians. It should be noted that so far, no official response has been made by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Biden administration to the claim of the New York Times.

Ham Mihan: Neither war nor negotiation

In a commentary, Ham Mihan discussed Iran's strategy toward the developments in West Asia and wrote: The recent agreement with Saudi Arabia has provided the ground for Iran's serious return to its macro-regional policy (no war, no negotiation). In the meantime, the attack by Hamas can suspend or put into doubt the normalization agreements of Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia, with Israel. In the framework of Iran's macro policy, opposition to normalization or "no negotiation" can be defined. But the expansion of its dimensions and the possibility of the entry of forces close to Iran, especially Hezbollah of Lebanon, are outside the framework of Iran's macro policy of "no war", and it conflicts with this strategy. Naturally, in this scenario, Iran is expected to advance its strategy, which is based on the deterrence model, not only to prevent the forces close to it from entering the war and expanding it; rather, with political and diplomatic consultations and conveying clear messages to the regional and extra-regional powers that are effective in the crisis, take steps to reduce the level of tension and even achieve a kind of ceasefire.

Arman-e-Melli: Palestine is alive

In an article, Arman-e-Melli analyzed the meeting of Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau, and some leaders of this movement in Doha, Qatar. The paper said: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country said in this meeting that Palestine is the most important issue in the Islamic world. And referring to the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran in regional and international consultations to stop the brutal attacks of the Israelis against the oppressed people of Gaza, he said: "In these days, to support the people of Gaza against the war crimes of the Zionist regime, we proposed to hold an urgent meeting of the foreign ministers of the Islamic countries and we will continue our efforts in this regard and we support every initiative of Islamic countries in support of the Palestinian nation. The spontaneous action of the Palestinian resistance forces (Al-Quds Storm Operation), as admitted by many experts, showed that Palestine is “alive” and the normalization agreement of some countries cannot create a disturbance in the strong will of the Palestinian people to pursue their natural, human and legal rights. Ismail Haniyeh also said that the Al-Aqsa operation dealt a strategic blow to the Zionist regime, and their killings and crimes in Gaza show their inability and confusion.
