In a note on President Raisi’s visit to New York to attend the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, the pro-government Iran newspaper said: Iran and the United States are in the process of verbal and step-by-step negotiations so that if the United States fulfills its initial commitments, we can imagine a clearer prospect for the sanctions lifting negotiations.

Although the European troika (France, Britain and Germany) failed to approve a resolution against Iran at the IAEA Board of Governors due to the process of mutual cooperation between Iran and the IAEA, they issued a joint statement that received a strong response from Tehran as Iran banned the entry of several IAEA inspectors with French and German nationalities. Considering the Islamic Republic’s highest level of flexibility in regard to practical proposed ideas in the recent negotiations, the Iranian diplomatic delegation can leverage its pressure to promote peaceful nuclear activities on the one hand and at the same prove that it is ready to continue indirect negotiations with the United States. In this regard, earlier, Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that there is a possibility of pursuing negotiations on the lifting of sanctions on the sidelines of the UN meeting.

Kayhan: Another disgrace for foes 

In an analysis, Kayhan discussed the disgrace of enemies of the Iranian people. It wrote: The failure of the opponents of the Islamic Republic to bring Iranians to the streets even outside the country, where there are no security restrictions, along with many other facts that have been revealed to all from the past year until now, is a sign of their ever-increasing decline. The extensive planning of the enemies of the Iranian nation to revive the project of chaos and civil disobedience under the code name of Mahsa Amini's anniversary, despite the high cost spent on it, caused another disgrace for them due to the miscalculation of Western think tanks. This project failed not only inside the country but also outside the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. What the so-called opposition wanted and promised did not come true.

Hamshahri: EU reaction to de-designating several IAEA inspectors 

In a commentary, Hamshahri discussed the European Union's reaction to Iran’s move to bar several IAEA inspectors. The paper wrote: In a statement published on the website of the European Union Foreign Action Service, it is stated that the European Union is deeply concerned about a report by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran on Saturday barred several IAEA inspectors to monitor and verify the country’s nuclear activities. The European Union wants Iran to reconsider its decision without delay. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said, unfortunately, despite the positive, constructive, and continuous interaction of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Agency, the three European countries (Britain, Germany and France) and the United States greedily undermined the atmosphere of cooperation between Iran and the Agency and abused the Board of Governors meeting for their political purposes. Iran had previously warned about the consequences of such political abuses, including the attempt to politicize the atmosphere of the Agency. Kanaani stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran of course will continue its positive cooperation within the framework of the agreements by insisting on the necessity of neutrality by the UN nuclear watchdog.

Vatan-e-Emrooz: Terrorists must go away

In an article, Vatan-e-Emrooz focused on Iran's emphasis on the implementation of the security agreement with Iraq and said: Despite the concrete measures taken by the federal Iraqi government to disarm and expel anti-revolution elements from the Iraqi Kurdistan Region based on the Tehran-Baghdad Security Agreement, some clauses of the agreement have not yet been fully implemented, which is necessary to follow up.
