TEHRAN – Iran lost to China 11-8 in the final match of the 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Kazakhstan defeated Thailand 18-7 to win the bronze medal.

Team Melli secured a berth at the 2023 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup.

The 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship was held from March 22 to 27 in Singapore.
