TEHRAN - Ahmad Faisal Muhamad, the Egyptian ambassador at the Geneva-based UN headquarters, and his Iranian counterpart Ali Bahraini discussed issues of the agenda of the UN and other international bodies, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

“Al-Ahram Newspaper” reported that the two envoys reviewed essential issues on the agenda of the United Nations and other specialized institutions.

In recent years, Iran has repeatedly expressed its interest in developing relations with Egypt and has tried to send positive signals in line with the implementation of the policy of expanding ties with the regional countries.
