POGC new head appointed

TEHRAN – Head of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr appointed Mohammad Hossein Motejali as the new managing director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), the company’s portal announced on Saturday.

Motejali has previously served as the acting head of POGC.

In his appointment decree, Khojasteh-Mehr asked Motejali to pay special attention to the completion of South Pars development projects, especially in phases 11, 12, 13, 14.

Also, the implementation of new development projects, especially recovery improvement and maintenance projects at South Pars have been stressed to be the priority of the POGC’s new head.

Pars Oil and Gas Company is a major NIOC subsidiary that is in charge of developing Iran's giant South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf.
