TEHRAN Iran Air considered a 15-percent special discount for those Iranian and foreign nationals who export hand woven carpets and enjoy the airliner's cargo facilities. The Deputy Export and Marketing Services of Export Promotion Center of Iran (EPCI) declared here yesterday that the special discount is considered only for carpet exporters who are introduced to Iran Air to this effect by EPCI. The discount would be given for ticket charge as well as cargo tariffs.

One official at the EPCI said that the move is amid to promote non-oil goods exports. According to the official Iranian and foreign nationals can take advantage of the the discount for a two-month period starting August 16 by referring to EPCI's offices at the Permanent Grounds of Tehran Trade Fair.
