Over $523m worth of commodities traded in IME in a week

TEHRAN- During weekdays ending up to January 24, approximately 502,106 million tons (MT) of commodities worth over $523.8 million were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME).

According to the report from IME International Affairs and Public Relations Department, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 226,410 MT of various products worth close to $226 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 218,820 MT of steel, 5,465 MT of copper, 2,000 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as one kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 279,550 MT of different commodities with the total value of $269 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 54,160 MT of VB feed stock, 122,485 MT of bitumen, 68,730 MT of polymer products, 26,769 MT of chemical products, 5,580 MT of sulfur, 5 MT of slaps waxes, 150 MT of argon as well as 860 MT of insulation were traded.
