TEHRAN – Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Hossein-Ali Amiri said on Saturday that Washington’s unilateral withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement will hurt the world.

“Flagrant violation of the UN Security Council’s binding resolution on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by one of the council’s permanent members is unprecedented and should it continue, it will certainly harm all the international community,” the vice president warned, IRNA reported.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has been insisting on logical and positive relations with the world and we don’t accept illogical requests of some foreign powers,” he added.
