Currency exhibit opens in Bandar Abbas

TEHRAN – Collections of domestic and foreign currencies have been put on show at the Persian Gulf anthropology museum in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, CHTN reported on Sunday.
Several collectors contribute to the one-month exhibit, which showcases paper money from Japan, Germany, Spain, Austria and the former Soviet Union amongst others.
It also contains Iranian currencies from Qajar era (1794 to 1925) to the present time.
