Over 434m tons of commodities worth $381m traded in IME in a week

TEHRAN- During weekdays ending up to November 29, approximately, 434,387 million tons (MT) of commodities worth over $381 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME).

According to the report from IME International Affairs and Public Relations Department, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 146,858 MT of various products worth close to $172.6 million were traded.

On this trading floor, 15,500 tons of sponge iron, 122,244 MT of steel, 4,525 MT of copper, 3,500 MT of aluminum, 25,000 MT of zinc soil, 940 MT of zinc ingots, 9 MT of precious metal concentrates and 140 MT molybdenum concentrate were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 229,937 MT of different commodities with the total value of $214 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 128,120 MT of VB feed stock, 28,720 MT of bitumen, 39,958 MT of polymer products, 29,634 MT of chemical products, 2,140 MT of sulfur as well as 2,150 MT of insulation were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME witnessed trading 32,000 MT of wheat was traded by customers.
