Five-month coal extraction at 759,466 tons

TEHRAN- Some 759,466 tons of coal was extracted in Iran during the five-month period from March 21 to August 22, IRNA reported citing the data released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The highest amount of mining was done during the third calendar month of Khordad (May 22-June 21) which was 184,905 tons.
Iran extracted 1.371 million tons of coal during the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20, 2018), falling from 1.688 million tons in its preceding year, according to IMIDRO’s data.
