Iranian companies to partake in Paris tourism fair

TEHRAN – Several Iranian travel businesses and exhibitors are scheduled to participate in the 40th International French travel market (IFTM Top Resa 2018), a four-day tourism exhibit running at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from September 25 to 28.

Iran’s pavilion, which will span 155 square meters in area, will be run by the Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran (TACI) in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.

Amongst the Iranian companies are Iransafar Tours, 2001 Tour and Travel Agency, Iran Aito, Marcopolo Iran Touring Company, Niknam Tour & Travel Services Co., Pardisan Tour & Travel Company, and Pars Tourist Agency, CHTN reported.

Filled from corner to corner with ancient bazaars, museums, mosques, monuments, gardens, historical sites, rich natural and rural landscapes, Iran hosts some of the world’s oldest cultural monuments, including 22 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Founded in 1978, the event is estimated to attract over 30,000 professional visitors form more than 1,600 brands at its vast venue, the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Today, IFTM Top Resa has become a multi target trade show for all travel segments: leisure, business and events.
