Japan chamber of commerce prepared to expand trade ties with Iran
TEHRAN- Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) is ready to develop economic and trade ties with Iran, according to its chairman, Akio Mimura.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani-Movahed, IRNA reported on Saturday.
“We are well informed of Iran’s capacities and capabilities as well as its smart and hard-working people and its old history and are willing for the expansion of ties with the country”, Mimura further noted.
Referring to the old population of Japan and the country’s current status of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), he mentioned cooperation with foreign sides as one of the strategies to flourish them.
Rahmani-Movahed, for his part, gave greetings to Mimura on the behalf of Gholam-Reza Shafe’i, the chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), and underscored the role of the two sides’ chambers of commerce in preserving and supporting the current relations and also for the progress of trade between Iran and Japan.
