TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday named Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli as his representative to the center for combating smuggling of goods and foreign currency.

In a letter, Rouhani said policy making, planning, coordination and supervision of the campaign against the smuggling of goods and foreign currency are among the duties of the interior minister, Mehr reported.

“We hope that by the grace of God and the work of staff members and other concerned agencies and by observing the principles of the rule of law, moderation and code of ethics of the prudence and hope administration, you succeed in performing the assigned tasks,” he added.
