TEHRAN – Lebanese political figures have called for more serious efforts on the side of their government as well as the United Nations in pursuing the case of four Iranian diplomats kidnapped in northern Lebanon in 1982.

Today it is necessary the Lebanese government to establish mechanisms and use all available tools to try to clarify fate of the four kidnapped diplomats, Lebanese MP Hekmat Dib was quoted as saying on Saturday.

“This is also the responsibility of the international community to address issue of the Iranian diplomats,” Dib added.
