Iraq main export market of Iranian non-oil goods in 3 months
TEHRAN – The value of Iran’s non-oil exports to Iraq rose by 13 percent in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21, 2018), Iran's commercial attaché in Iraq Naser Behzad was quoted by IRIB on Tuesday.
According to the official, Iran exported some 3.75 million tons of goods at the value of $1.750 billion to Iraq during the mentioned period. The exports also rose by 3 percent in terms of weight.
Iran currently has a 15 percent share of Iraq’s total foreign trade which puts Iraq on top of the country’s non-oil trade partners list.
Plastic products, industrial goods, crops, dairy products, tile and ceramic, construction products, household cleaning products, sweets and chocolates, tomato paste and automotive parts were reported to be among the top exported items.
