Flood in Iran leaves 4 dead

TEHRAN — Flooding across the northern and northwestern parts of the country has claimed four lives since Friday, said deputy head of Rescue and Relief Organization.
Over the past two days, four provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan, Ardebil, and West Azarbaijan were hit by floods, Fars news agency quoted Shahin Fat’hi as saying on Sunday.
So far, water has been pumped out from 25 flooded houses and 11 cars stuck in flood have been pulled out of the water, he stated.
