TEHRAN – Iran’s ambassador to Ukraine has urged independent countries, including Ukraine, to react to “U.S. unilateralism”, IRNA reported.

Mohammad Beheshti Monfared made the remarks on Saturday in a meeting with Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya.

He also denounced the U.S. government for its “illegal withdrawal” from the 2015 nuclear deal as a blatant violation of international commitments.

Kyslytsya, for his part, stressed the importance of Iran’s role in regional and international developments, and voiced support for continuation of Iran's cooperation with the IAEA and the current talks with European sides within the framework of the JCPOA joint commission.
