Foreign Ministry focused on wooing tourists

TEHRAN – The Foreign Ministry’s representative in northeastern Iran has announced the formation of an office at the ministry to facilitate attraction of foreign tourists, ISNA reported.
Qolam-Abbas Arbab-Khales said on Saturday that the office was created to boost tourism industry. “Iran is among the top countries of the world with regard to tourist attractions.”
He also said the Foreign Ministry policy is to attract investment by Iranian nationals living abroad, adding it would benefit employment and help introduce Iran’s tourist attractions to the world.
