TEHRAN – Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran Asif Ali Khan Durrani has said that his country would welcome Iran’s offer to help resolve the Kashmir conflict.

Speaking with ISNA, Durrani thanked Iran for voicing readiness to help resolve the conflict.

However, the ambassador said, “It seems that India does not agree with this.”

He said dialogue is important in reaching a deal only if the two sides agree that justice should prevail.

Last week, Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said Iran will support any move in line with the interests of the Kashmiri people.
