Ambassador: Regional issues can be resolved through dialogue
April 4, 2018 - 10:12
TEHRAN – Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei has hailed the trilateral cooperation of Iran, Russia and Turkey on Syria, saying the regional problems and crises can be resolved through dialogue and regional cooperation.
Sanaei said cooperation among the three countries has led to victories against terrorist groups, adding the summit of the presidents of Iran, Russia and Turkey in Ankara on Wednesday shows the importance of dialogue in resolving regional issues.
Turkey, Russia and Iran are the guarantor countries who brokered a ceasefire in Syria in December 2016, leading to the Astana talks to find a political solution to the eight-year Syrian conflict.
