The license of activity of first operator of private post of country was awarded to TIPAX Company on Monday morning in the presence of Minister of Communications and Information Technology (ICT) and activists in public and private sector, the Public Relations Dept. of TIPAX Company reported.

As held at the venue of Shahid Qandi Amphitheater, Eng. Azari Jahromi pointed to the strong determination of government for the delegation of governmental monopoly to the private sector and added, “the fast-paced developments in the contemporary world of today forced us to take giant strides in this field.”

In the end, ICT minister once again pointed to the privatization and said, “post company of Iran will be privatized in line with materializing most of its objectives.”

Dr. Mehrdad Fakher Chief Executive of TIPAX Company was the next speaker who said, “it is hoped that activity of privately-funded operators of Post Company of Iran can bring about a win-win transactions with the companies tasked with offering quality postal services and recipients of these services.”

It should be noted that license of activity of first operation of Iran’s privately-funded post was awarded to Dr. Mehrdad Fakher Chief Executive of TIPAX Company.
