Minerals, mining exports rise 4.6% in 10 months

TEHRAN- Iran’s minerals and mining exports stood at $7.587 billion during the first ten months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2017-January 20, 2018) registering 4.6 percent growth in comparison with the same time in the previous year, according to data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The IRICA data also put the weight of minerals and mining industries products exports at 53.337 million tons during the ten-month period, with 1.3 percent fall from that of the same time span in the past year, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Iran imported 9.553 million tons of the products worth over $4.464 billion in the first ten months of this year, showing 78.7 percent and 32.4 percent rise, respectively, compared to the figures of the previous year.
