Fishery exports up 40% in 10 months yr/yr

TEHRAN – Fishery exports from Iran rose 40 percent during the ten-month period ended on January 20, 2018, compared to the same period of time in the past year, according to a fishery official.

Hassan Salehi, the head of Iran’s Fisheries Organization, also said that fishery imports have fallen 10 percent during the ten-month period, Mehr news agency reported.

Iran plans to increase the value of its fishery exports up to $450-$500 million by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2018).
