$12b foreign investments attracted since Mar. 2017

TEHRAN- Iran could manage to attract $12 billion of foreign investments since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2017), Iranian Finance Minister Masoud Karbasian told reporters on Tuesday.

He said that $30 billion of foreign investments were planned to be attracted during the current year, of which $12 billion has been absorbed, IRNA reported. 

The Iranian minister made the remarks during his one-day trip to the province of Semnan, north central Iran, where he inaugurated a number of development projects.
