Bank loans to economic sector rises 5.5% in 9 months yr/yr

TEHRAN- Iranian banking system’s offered facilities to domestic economic sectors during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-December 21, 2017) increased by 5.5 percent, in comparison with the same period in the year before, IRIB news reported on Wednesday.
As reported, 4.036 quadrillion rials (about $91.957 billion) of loans were granted to Iranian economic sector in the said time, registering 210 billion rials (about $4.784 million) growth compared to the same time in the preceding year.
Working capital loans paid to different economic sectors was above 2.515 quadrillion rials (about $57.302 billion) accounting for 62.3 percent of the total provided facilities in the said period, registering a 2.6 percent increase from the previous year.
