TEHRAN – Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani will lead the Iranian delegation in a parliamentary conference which is set to be held in Pakistan’s Islamabad on December 24.

The National Assembly of Pakistan will hold the conference, which will address the challenges of terrorism and inter-regional connectivity, IRNA reported.

Parliament speakers from Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Russia and Turkey are also expected to participate in the conference along with their respective parliamentary delegations.

The joint meeting will also explore all avenues of securing peace within the six countries.
