TEHRAN - French oil and gas consulting company Beicip-Franlab S.A. signed an agreement with Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, also known as RIPI, for conducting studies to develop Homa gas field in southern Iran.

Based on the agreement, the French company will prepare a development plan and also share knowledge on advanced upstream processes, Shana reported on Wednesday quoting Touraj Behrouz, an official with RIPI.

The project aims to come up with a mechanism for controlling the field’s water influx and increasing recovery factor.
