TEHRAN – Buniyad Huseynov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tehran, said on Sunday that his country strongly supports the Iran nuclear deal, also called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Speaking to IRNA, Huseynov underlined the importance of a recent trilateral summit between the presidents of Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia, saying Tehran-Baku relations have been expanding over the past four years.
He added the presidents of the two countries have met ten times since four years ago, when Hassan Rouhani was elected as president for the first time.
