Tehran gallery to display embossing works from veteran, young artists
TEHRAN -- Mess-Negar Gallery, Tehran’s major showcase for Persian traditional arts, will display a collection of embossing works by several masters of the art and promising young artists in an exhibition opening on Friday.
“We are happy to see more young artists in this field of art,” Mess-Negar director Mohammad-Hassan Golchinpur said in a press release on Monday.
He added that the younger generations’ desire to work in embossing shows that the art has made great progress.
Works by masters such as Mansur Hafezparast, Akbar Bozorgian, Reza Qaderan, Majid Bahramipur, Mohammad-Mehdi Babakhani and Mostafa Mirfakhrai have been selected for the exhibition.
The exhibit will also showcase works by Mohsen Barati, Reza Abedi, Kamal Lotfi, Shapur Akbari, Emad Dalvi and several other young artists.
The gallery is located at No. 5 in the Park Prince Building on Molla Sadra Highway.
