South Korean acrobats, musicians perform in Tehran

TEHRAN – Groups of South Korea percussionists and acrobats are scheduled to give some open-air performances in the courtyard of Tehran’s Milad Tower today.

The groups will stage performances of pungmul nori (Korean traditional percussion instruments playing), sangmo nori (spinning streamer hat performance) and beona nori (spinning hoops and dishes) during a program, which will begin at 6 p.m., the Embassy of South Korea announced in a press release on Wednesday. 

The program has been organized by the embassy to celebrate the 55th anniversary of political relations between the country and Iran.
