Iran set to boost relations with Azerbaijan

TEHRAN – Mahmoud Vaezi, the presidential chief of staff, has said that Iran is determined to expand cooperation with the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev on Tuesday, Vaezi hailed the good progress in relations in the first 4-year term of Rouhani’s presidency.

Vaezi also called for facilitating the implementation of joint projects and the recently reached agreements between the two countries.

Mustafayev, for his turn, praised the two countries’ efforts in expanding bilateral ties.
