Thai PTTEP presents study results for 3 oilfields to NIOC

TEHRAN - Thailand's state-owned PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) presented the results of its development studies on three Iranian oilfields to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on Saturday.

According to Shana, The results of development studies on Changouleh and Dalpari fields in western Iran and Balal field in the Persian Gulf were presented in a meeting attended by NIOC Deputy Managing Director for Engineering and Development Gholamreza Manouchehri, some officials from Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) and Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) as well as representatives of the Thai company.

In December 2016, PTTEP signed a memorandum of understanding with NIOC to carry out development studies on the mentioned oil fields and now based on the agreement the company handed its proposal in.

Norwegian oil and gas company, DNO has also conducted development studies on Changouleh field and the company submitted the results earlier this month.

Balal and Dalpari fields’ studies are also awarded to other companies as well, South Korea is studying Balal and Austrian OMV is studying Dalpari.
