province in the spring of 2014 into three provinces, the North Khorasan province was added to the country’s administrative divisions with Bojnourd as its capital city. Despite suffering from deprivation and drought, the locals live in harmony with nature and seek livelihood through endeavors. The province is considered among the lands of tribal treasures where its main residents are Farsi speaking population.
