Annual exports from free trade zones hit $840m

TEHRAN – The value of exports from Iran’s free trade zones stood at $840 million in the last Iranian calendar year 1395 (ended on March 20), a deputy at the secretariat of the Supreme Council of Iran’s Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones announced.
According to Mehdi Bazargan, the country’s value of exports from the free trade zones was reported to be $640 million in the preceding year 1394 which was 31 percent lower than that of 1395.
