TEHRAN – Iran’s interior minister on Tuesday briefed the Majlis on the May 19 presidential and council elections.

Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli hailed the fact the Guardian Council approved the results of the presidential election without annulment of even one single ballot box.

He went on to say that the complaints received from a number of monitoring bodies have been mostly studied and the rest are under review.

The minister said the number of voting stations was 62,381, a 20 percent rise compared to previous presidential and council elections.
