TEHRAN – An exhibition of forty posters on Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, is currently underway at two galleries of the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran.

The exhibit entitled “Path to the Sun” is displaying artworks by Iranian artists including Alireza Purakbari, Mehdi Hajimohammadi, Alireza Hesaraki and Mohammad Khazai.

The exhibition has been organized to commemorate the death anniversary of Imam Khomeini who died on June 3, 1989.

The showcase runs until Saturday at the forum and then it will go on display at the shrine of Imam Khomeini on Sunday and Monday.

Copies of the posters are also being shown in exhibitions at the Abolfazl Aali Gallery of the Tehran Art Bureau and Tehran’s Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art until June 8.
