TEHRAN – Presidential candidate Mostafa Mirsalim has said that he would be happy if any of his rivals stepped down in favor of him.

He also said dismissed the idea of increasing cash subsidies, saying, “I must be out of my mind to try to increase cash handouts,” Tasnim reported.

He also urged a high turnout in elections, saying, “If we have a 70% turnout then we will have a higher degree of democracy.”
