Electoral crimes less than previous round: attorney general

TEHRAN – Iran’s attorney general said on Tuesday that the number of electoral crimes in 2017 has been lower than that of the 2013 election.
By Sunday a total of 236 suits were filed with the prosecutor’s office, Mohammad Jafari Montazeri said, IRIB reported.
He added 27 of the suits were filed by the Interior Ministry and the rest by the campaign offices of candidates.
