TEHRAN – The ICT minister confirmed on Wednesday that Hassan Rouhani will be the only person in the cabinet who will run for presidential post this year.

There is no talk about any cabinet member’s candidacy except for Mr. Rouhani, Mahmoud Vaezi told Mehr news agency on Wednesday.

The minister also refuted allegations that he is going to sign up for candidacy. Vaezi also expressed doubt if Rouhani needs a reserve candidate.
