“Harmless Ruler” named Iran’s best-selling album of the year

TEHRAN – Iranian pop singer Mohsen Chavoshi’s “Harmless Ruler” (“Amire Bi Gazand”) has become Iran’s best-selling album of the year, Beeptunes, a major online Iranian music shop, has announced.

Released last June, “Harmless Ruler”, which contains songs composed by Sadi and Rumi and works by contemporary poets including Pedram Parizi and Hossein Safa.

The album is followed by Mohammadreza Shajarian’s “The Way of Love”, which the vocalist icon of Iranian traditional music had recorded with a number of legendary musicians in the Aref ensemble in 1989.
 
“30 Years Old” by pop singer Ehsan Khajeh-Amiri , “Walk of Ordibehesht” by Daal Band and “I Said Don’t Go” by Mohammad Alizadeh come next.

“Untold” by Hafez Nazeri, “Love Again” by Hamed Homayun, “Full Length Mirror” by Mehdi Yarahi and “Manshur” by Kaveh Yaghmai are also among the top-sellers.
