Fajr festival to screen films from 58 countries

TEHRAN – A selection of 140 feature and short films from 58 countries will go on screen during the 35th Fajr International Film Festival, which will open on April 21.

The largest number of entries are from French filmmakers with 17 movies, the organizers announced on Monday.

Movies by directors from Spain, Russia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, China, the United States, Poland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, Egypt, India, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Sweden and a number of other countries will be screened at the event, which will be running until April 28.
