Annual non-oil export from Iran stands at $40b: Jahangiri

TEHRAN- Iranian First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri put the country’s worth of non-oil exports at $40 billion in the past Iranian calendar year of 1395 (ended on March 20), ILNA reported on Wednesday.
“We can boost non-oil exports”, the official said while stressing the need to improve the condition for the activity of private sector in the country.
According to customs data, the value of Iran’s non-oil trade stood at over $83 billion in the calendar year of 1394.
The country had exported $42.415 billion worth of goods while its imports reached $41.499 billion in that year.
