TEHRAN – A number of Iranian artists will come together at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran this evening to discuss Iranian modern painting after the 1979 Islamic revolution.

  
Painters Morteza Gudarzi, Ali Faramarzi, Kazem Chalipa, Ahmad Aqaqolizadeh and Abdolhamid Qadirian are scheduled to deliver speeches at the session, which will begin at 5 p.m.

The meeting has been organized on the sidelines of an exhibition of paintings by post-revolution artists, which is currently underway at the Iranian Artists Forum.
