Iran-U.S. trade at $258m in 2016

TEHRAN- Registering an 11-percent drop in comparison with the preceding year, Iran-U.S. trade in 2016 stood at $258 million.
According to the latest report of American Statistical Association (ASA), the trade between Iran and the U.S. was above $292.3 million in 2015, while the figure currently stands at $258.1 million.
The value of exports from the U.S. to Iran in 2016 was $172.1 million, decreasing 38 percent from $281.5 million in 2015.
The country’s imports from Iran in 2016 stood at $86 million showing an intense rise from $10.8 million in 2015.
