Iran, Armenia sign MOU on insurance co-op

TEHRAN- Iran and Armenia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand bilateral insurance cooperation in Yerevan on Thursday, IRNA reported.

The MOU was signed in a meeting between CEO of Central Insurance of Iran Abdol-Naser Hemati and Chairman of Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Arthur Javadyan, where the two sides discussed bilateral insurance cooperation.
Hemati, outlining Iran’s insurance situation and its international interactions, expressed Iran’s readiness for improvement of bilateral cooperation with Armenian insurance companies.
Javadyan, for his part, welcomed bilateral insurance ties between Tehran and Yerevan in this regard.
As reported, the meeting was also attended by the Iranian Ambassador to Yerevan.
