Interior minister: Elections will be healthy

TEHRAN – Iran’s interior minister has said the May 19 presidential and council elections will be held in full health and with complete observation of legal rules.

ISNA on Tuesday reported that the elections headquarters for the upcoming election held its first official meeting on Tuesday, where Rahmani Fazli attended.

Speaking after the session, Interior Ministry spokesman Salman Samani said 140 polling booths will be established overseas for Iranian nationals to cast votes on the election day.
