Andrea Anastasi says that he has negotiated with the Iranian Volleyball Federation.

The Italian coach is a candidate to take charge of Iran volleyball team as a replacement for Raul Lozano.
The Iranian federation will not extend the contract of Argentine coach.

Anastasi along with Sada Cruzeiro coach Marcelo Mendez and Bulgarian Radostin Stoychev are candidates to take charge of the Iranian team.

“I’ve received an offer from the Iranian federation,” the 56-year-old told sportowefakty.wp.pl.

Anastasi was a candidate to replace Stephane Antiga as Poland coach but it seems the European team is reluctant to sign the coach and is negotiating with Stoychev.

“I don’t care about that and I completely respect their decision. I’ve already received offers from the other teams, including Iran,” Anastasi added.

Chinese volleyball federation has also shown interest in signing the Italian coach .
